Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy has been updated effective January 1, 2020 to include a provision for the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
This privacy policy (this "Privacy Policy") describes how Facilitron, Inc. (Facilitron) collects and uses information you provide on our website, facilitron.com, and Mobile Software (collectively, the "Service"). It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of information about you and how you can access and update this information. By using, accessing or participating in the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings set forth in the Terms and Conditions of Use (located at facilitron.com/terms).
If you have questions or complaints regarding our Privacy Policy or practices, please contact us at privacy@facilitron.com.
We may change our Privacy Policy at any time. If we do this, we will post the updated Privacy Policy here and update the "effective date." We may also notify you of any changes (in accordance with applicable law). Any revisions to this Privacy Policy will become effective on the effective date. If you do not agree to the updated Privacy Policy, do not use, access or participate in (or continue to use, access or participate in) the Service. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
The Information We Collect
When you use the Service you provide us with two types of information: (i) information you submit via the Service and (ii) information regarding your use of the Service collected by us as you interact with the Service.
(i) Information You Provide to Us
Through the registration process you may provide us with your name, company affiliation, email address, telephone number, physical address, information about your booking (such as type of space, reservation times, and any details you submit), and other space-specific information that may be requested during the registration process on the Service. If you wish to create an account that requires payment of a fee, or use services offered via the Service that require payment of a fee, a valid credit card number or other payment information may be required. By submitting your payment information, you authorize Facilitron to access and use this information in order to provide you with and accept payment for the Service.
(ii) Information We Collect When You Use the Service
When you enter the Service, we may collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all Service guests. In addition, we may connect information collected automatically with information we already have about you in order to identify you as a Service guest. If we are able to identify you as a Service guest we may, for example, link your activity on our website to your activity in a rented location or on one of our mobile applications. This allows us to provide you with a personalized experience regardless of how you interact with us - online, physically, on a mobile device, etc.
In order to provide the best guest experience possible, we also use automated information collection technologies for reporting and analysis purposes. We examine metrics such as how you are interacting with and shopping on our website and on our mobile applications, the performance of our marketing efforts, and your response to those marketing efforts.
We and our service providers use anonymous identifiers such as cookies and other technologies to collect and store certain types of information (e.g. click stream information, browser type, time and date, subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over, hardware/software information, cookie and session ID) whenever you interact with us or third-parties that use our services.
We also allow third-party companies (e.g., Google) to place tags on our digital properties once approved through our tagging process. The tags may collect information from your interactions on the Service. Please contact these third party companies (e.g., Google) directly for more information about their privacy policy and your choices regarding the tags and the information collected by the tags.
In addition, depending on your Mobile Software settings and device permissions, your location (including GPS and WiFi data) may be tracked on the device on which you access the Service. This tracking may occur even when the Mobile Software is not in use. We use location data to provide you with relevant search results for spaces in your area. To opt out of location tracking, please change your settings at the device level.
When you download and use our Mobile Software or access our website, we may automatically collect information on the type of device you use, operating system version, and the device identifier (or "UDID").
Social Media Widgets
Our sites and mobile applications include social media features, such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter widgets. These features may collect information about you such as your IP address and which page you are visiting on our site. They may set a cookie or employ other tracking technologies to accomplish this. Social media features and widgets may be hosted by a third party. Your interactions with those features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.
Information from other sources
We collect information about you from other sources to enhance our existing guest information and improve the accuracy of our records. This improves our ability to contact you and increases the relevance of our marketing.
Do Not Track
We do not collect personally identifiable information from you to track you across third party websites. As a result, we do not specifically respond to web browser Do Not Track ("DNT") signals.
Minors
Facilitron does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 18, please do not attempt to register for the Service or send any information about you to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 18 may provide any information to Facilitron or the Service. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a minor under 18, please contact us at privacy@facilitron.com.

We use the information about you to:
When you use the Service, you may submit information and content to your Profile, send messages, perform searches, submit reviews, and otherwise transmit information to other Users. We store this information and registration information so that we can provide you the Service and offer personalized features. We also use information about you to verify your identity and maintain your account, settings and preferences, as well as to manage payments and reservations. Once you register with Facilitron, you may create your Profile. Your Profile information, as well as your contact information, are displayed to other Users, including Facility Owners at whose Facilities you make or request reservations. We may communicate with you regarding your experience with the Service and/or to collect feedback regarding your experience. We may occasionally use your contact information to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Facilitron and its partners that we think you may find valuable. Facilitron may also send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the Service. Generally, you may opt out of such communications by, for example, following the unsubscribe option included in each email, although Facilitron reserves the right to communicate with you regarding transactional and relational operations as they relate to your account and/or use of the Service. Facilitron provides push notifications for upcoming reservations. To turn off push notifications, please edit your personal settings on your device.
Profile information and your reservation activity is used by Facilitron primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the Service and to be presented to other Users. The amount of such information presented to other Users will depend on your relationship with those Users (e.g., whether they are following you, or you are following them, as permitted by the Service, or whether you were referred to the Service by them). If you register for the Service via a referral from a Professional, Facilitron will inform the Professional when you register for the Service and begin browsing listings on the Service, and will provide the Professional with information regarding reservations that you book. In some cases, other Users may be able to supplement your Profile or contribute information about your Facility (if you are a Facility Owner), including by submitting comments and reviews. You consent to Facilitron making such information available to other Users and the public. You may change the privacy settings of your profile through your account portal. Information from your Profile may be available to our third party service provider for search engines. This is primarily so that potential users may be able to find you.
Facilitron may use aggregate data (based partly on IP addresses) and other information collected through the Service to analyze Service usage and system performance, as well as verifying accounts and activity, investigating suspicious activity, and enforcing our terms and policies to the extent necessary to promote the safety and security of the Service and in protecting our rights and the rights of others. We may also use such information to develop new features and services, to prevent, find and resolve software or hardware bugs and issues, and to monitor and improve our operations and processes.
We may use information about you to provide customer support. To do this, we may use such information to respond, investigate and assist you in resolving questions or issues you have regarding the Service.
Sometimes the law, government entities or other regulatory bodies impose demands and obligations on us with respect to the services we seek to provide. In such a circumstance, we may use information about you to respond to those demands or obligations.
Cross-Context
We merge data collected from our own websites and mobile apps. Examples of the data collected include: cookie IDs, device Advertising IDs (such as Apple and Google's Advertising Identifiers); transaction and browsing history; your interaction with our online and mobile advertisements, including advertisements we serve within our emails and advertisements that we serve on behalf of third parties; information about ads we serve, such as which ad was served, your interactions with the ads, and the URLs where the ads are served.
Cross-Device Linking
We may also link your various devices so that content you see on one device can result in relevant experience on another device. This allows us to deliver more personalized and consistent content to you (for example, if you browse for a space on our website using your desktop, we are able to provide relevant information on the same space on your mobile phone; if you add an item to your cart on Facilitron.com through your mobile device, but leave Facilitron.com without completing the checkout process, we are able to show you that item in your cart on another device).
User Experience Information
In order to improve guest online and mobile experiences, help with fraud identification, and assist our guest relations representatives in resolving issues guests may experience in using our services, we use tools to monitor certain user experience information, including login information, IP address, data regarding pages visited and links clicked, specific actions taken on pages visited (e.g., information entered during checkout process), browser and device information.
Sharing Information About You with Third Parties
You may choose to provide information about you, your company or organization or, if you are a Facility Owner, your Facility to other Users and to the public by providing such information on public areas of the Service ("Public Information"). Public Information consists of information that is posted by you on areas of the Service accessible by other Users and/or the public, such as Facility descriptions. Public information does not include information you submit to us but do not post on areas of the Service accessible by other Users and/or the public, such as billing and payment information ("Non-Public Information").
We will share information about you with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy. We share your Non-Public Information with third parties only in limited circumstances where we believe such sharing is reasonably necessary to offer the Service, legally required or permitted by you. For example:
We may share Non-Public Information of a Renter with the applicable Facility Owner(s) and Non-Public information of a Facility Owner with the applicable Renter(s) upon receiving a reservation request and confirmation.

In connection with these offerings and business operations, our service providers may have access to your Non-Public Information for use for a limited time in connection with these business activities. Where we utilize third parties for the processing of any of your Non-Public Information, we implement reasonable contractual protections limiting the use of that Non-Public Information to the provision of services to Facilitron.
- We may be required to disclose Non-Public Information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. Additionally, we may share Non-Public Information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Service or using the Facilitron name, or to prevent imminent harm. This may include sharing Non-Public Information with other companies, lawyers, agents, government agencies or to any third party with your prior consent to do so.
- We may offer to provide services jointly with other companies on the Service, and we may share Non-Public Information with those companies in connection with such an offer or your use of that service. If the ownership of all or substantially all of the Facilitron business, or individual business units or assets owned by Facilitron that are related to the Service, were to change, your Non-Public Information may be transferred to the new owner. In any such transfer of information, your Non-Public Information would remain subject to this Privacy Policy. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of information about you, as well as any choices you may have regarding information about you.
- If we have a separate agreement with a company we believe to be your employer or company for whom we believe you work as a contractor (as determined in each case by your email domain), we may provide your User ID, email address and reservation activity to that company so that you may be included within an arrangement that we have with such company. We will notify you if we provide this information to a company and you may elect not to participate in any such arrangement by contacting us at privacy@facilitron.com and stating that you do not wish to participate in such arrangement.
- We may share information about you while negotiating or in relation to a change of corporate control, such as a restructuring, merger, or sale of our assets.
When you use the Service, certain information you post or share with third parties (including other Users), such as comments, reviews or other information, may be shared with other Users in accordance with the privacy settings you select. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose confidential information in your Profile or when posting comments, reviews or other submissions, this information may become publicly available.
Your posting of Public Information to public areas of the Service constitutes your consent to share such Public Information publicly. Please be aware that Public Information will be accessible by both Users and the general public. Nothing in this Privacy Policy shall restrict Facilitron's right to use Public Information. To request removal of information about you from public areas of the Service, please contact us. In some cases, we may not be able to remove information about you, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why. Please note that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.

You can log in to the Service using sign-in services such as an Open ID provider. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain information about you with us such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form. Services like LinkedIn and Open ID give you the option to post information about your activities on the Service to your profile page to share with others within your network.
Changing or Removing Information
Users may modify or delete their Profile information by logging into their account. Removed information may persist in backup copies but will not be generally available to other Users. Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other Users (e.g., sending a message to another User) you generally cannot remove such communications from the Service.
Upon your request, we will close your account and remove information about you from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We do retain information from closed accounts to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.
